Green Sorting Lines
Green sorting line receives sawn timber directly after processing in a sawline. It sorts by dimension, quality (if needed), stacks it into packages on the needed size for future drying process. Almab´s green sorting line is adapted to the capacity of the sawline and the desired staffing. It can also be equipped with, for example, buffering system and automatic stick handling. Sorting bins can be obtained as vertical sinking sections or as horizontal tray sorter.
Dry Sorting Lines
Dry sorting line sorts dried lumber by quality and length. Almab´s dry sorting line can be adapted to capacity needs, staffing, and can be combined with planers and splitting saws. Sorting bins are available as vertical sinking sections or as horizontal tray sorter.
Planing Lines
Almab’s planing lines handle board processing in the line both before and after planing and splitting. It can be supplied with robust planer in-feeders and handle boards around splitting saw both horizontal and vertical sawing.
Cross-cut Lines
Almab’s cross-cut lines can cut boards using optimization saws, or cut lumber for roof trusses using CNC-controlled cross-cut saws. These lines can be equipped with automatic order-picking.
