Sorting Waste
A rough sorting sorts newly sawn timber by dimension and sometimes also by quality. Almab’s rough sorting is adapted to the capacity of the saw and the desired staffing. Can also be equipped with, for example, buffering system and automatic stacking. Sorting compartments can be obtained as vertical sinking compartments or as horizontal tray sorting.
Sawmill sort
A sawmill sorts dry timber by quality and length. Almabs sawmill can be tailored to capacity needs, staffing, and can be combined with planers and circular saws. Sorting compartments can be obtained as vertical drop compartments or as horizontal tray sorters.
Planing lines
Almab planing lines handle all wood processing in the line both before and after planer and sawing. Sometimes can be delivered with sturdy planer feeders and handling around saw for both horizontal and vertical cutting.
Cutting lines
Almab’s cutting lines can cut components using optimization saws, or cutting timber for roof trusses using CNC-controlled cross saws. These lines can be equipped with automatic order-picking.
